Wow, let me just say, if you can get Michele and her team as your planner, DO IT! After a very bad experience with a planner we had previously booked, I came to Michele for her expertise hoping she could sort out a mess of a timeline and overall event organization. She seriously saved the day! She is so down to earth even though she frequently works with very many high profile clients (Kat Von D anyone?!).

She made us feel like we were her only client, and that our wedding was the event of the season! It was fun to collaborate with her on ideas, and her creativity is invaluable. She took our wedding to another level with uniqueness and fun! Everyone of our guests has told me that it was the best wedding they've ever attended, and that is thanks in large part to Center of Attention Events. We interviewed multiple planners, we knew a few minutes into our interview with Michele would be planning our wedding. It was immediately apparent that she knows the event coordination industry like the back of her hand. Before we even booked her she understood our taste to the point that she was starting to identify which photographers, caterers etc she thought would best fit our style.

She was right on target. She always provided options for all of our important decisions but never too many, Her in-depth knowledge and professional connections saved us thousands.Michele is always present, really in the moment while meeting with you. You are her top priority. It may seem like a small thing but it's not. In the chaos of planning a wedding, I can't even describe how amazing it was to have a wedding planner that was a really good listener. At the same time she is able to think ahead and foresee details that I wouldn't have thought about. Michele makes it happen. Whenever ve would come up with what we thought were nearly impossible tasks, Michele never flinched. She truly caters to her c clients needs. Check lists, and wedding day wishes. Here's one example of Michele going the extra mile: The day after our wedding one of my groomsmen realized he forgot his wallet in the pocket of the tux we rented which was left at the venue in Malibu. He realized this on the way to the airport. Out of desperation we called Michele to see if they found it when cleaning up. Michele took it upon herself to drive back to the venue in Malibu (keep in mind she has already been paid at this point) and search the premises. She found the wallet, sped to LAX and got it to my groomsman just in time for him to make his flight (!). Bottom line Michele does this out of sheer passion. She has a heart of gold and really just wants her clients to have the best day ever.

Center of Attention is the best service available. We interviewed many wedding coordinators, and only Michelle Fox-Gott was able to get a sense of who we were and provide a tailor made wedding that reflected our relationship, our personalities, and to do a phenomenal job within our budget.

All of the other vendors we spoke to wanted to give us a cookie cutter wedding - something they had done before, and/or were unwilling to commit upfront that they could provide a unique wedding within our budget. All of the staff at Center of Attention were delightful and very dedicated to bringing us the wedding we wanted with as little stress as possible. Center of attention helped us with every detail of the wedding from choosing a location to being there the day of and providing tons of things we never would have thought of ourselves. Working with Center of Attention had all of the benefits of working with family in that we knew they really cared about us, our wedding, and our well-being - without any of the baggage that comes with working with family - it was fantastic. After our wedding at least half of our guests told us that it was not only the best wedding they had every attended, but the best party or event they had ever attended. Michelle, and Center of Attention made that possible. They really listened to our wants and needs, added their professionalism, knowledge and sense of fun to the project and amazingly kept us on budget. Center of attention works off a percentage of your total budget. Since we gave Michelle the total amount of money we wanted to spend and their fee came out of that budget, it really was as if we were getting the services for free (or better since they saved us a lot of money because they had so many resources and knew how to work a budget). It feels odd to mention money here because what Michelle and all of the staff at Center of Attention provided was worth so much more than money. They gave us fun, elegance, and peace of mind in that we knew they could handle anything that was thrown at them and did. They allowed us to just enjoy our wedding without having to lift a finger the day of. If we could give them higher rankings we would.
